Spring CSA 2024
The Burfoot Flowers Spring CSA membership is a subscription to our specialty spring flower bouquets, delivered to the Boston Harbor, NE Oly, and Eastside neighborhoods.
Our blooms are grown right here in Olympia, with 1/10th the carbon emissions of imported flowers, and grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides or harsh chemicals. Your membership supports my small business and connects you to super fresh, unique flowers all season long.
Choose 3 or 6 specialty spring flower bouquets— No basic grocery store tulips here! Think florist-quality, unique and elevated ranunculus, peony tulips, anemone and more!
Bouquets will be left on your porch in water, ready for you to enjoy whenever you come home
Bouquets are vase-ready and beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and brown paper, or artfully arranged in a mason jar
Delivery for the entire season is included— Tell me when you’re out of town, and leave the rest to me! I’ll text you when your flowers are on their way 😉
Check out the map to make sure you are within the NE Olympia/98506 delivery area, or can commit to short notice pick ups*
Schedule: Flowers are estimated to begin in April, and continue through the end of May, or Early June.
Delivering your flowers rather than hosting scheduled pick-ups allows me to get truly fresh flowers right in to your hands without the costly infrastructure and added environmental impacts of refrigeration units, flower food solutions, extra packaging and processing typical for spring flowers. This saves you a trip, improves the quality and vase life of your flowers, and allows me to work with the rhythms of the season! I think it will be a win-win.
How delivery works: In March we will confirm your anticipated delivery weeks, and you will be asked to provide the dates of any overnight trips or conflicts you have April-May so I can avoid them!
You will be alerted to your upcoming bouquet delivery the day before, or the morning of your delivery, by text message.
If things aren’t going to plan and the flowers are coming faster or slower than anticipated, your delivery weeks will be adjusted to ensure you get the freshest, highest quality flowers, while avoiding any conflicts you’ve told me about.
*If you live outside the delivery area and can make a commitment to picking up your bouquets with 12-24 hours notice, email me - bloom@burfootflowers.com. I’d be happy to set up a drop site in the Boston Harbor Neighborhood, or central Oly if there is enough interest and willingness to work with the short-notice system these spring beauties require!
